Formula 1 (English Formula One) – World Championship ring auto racing in cars with open wheels. Formula-1, or "King's formula" is the most popular, expensive and high-tech kind of racing. World Championship Formula 1 is held every year and consists of individual Grand Prix, or stages. At the end of the year revealed the winner of the championship. In Formula-1 compete as individual pilots and teams. Pilots compete for a world title, and team – for the Cup designers.

For the first time the system was presented Ferrari team in 1990. Then, after ban ARS in the 1994 season, the technology has gradually become introduced automakers to mass-produced cars. Traction control system as in Formula 1 for a while yet appeared, but soon was again abolished by the pretext that such a complex electronic "filling" car eliminates many of pilot error.
